Shipping Times & Procedures

Shipping times for saunas may vary based on the season and the specific model ordered. For an accurate estimate and to begin planning your delivery, please contact us at support@theradiawellness.com

All saunas are shipped via LTL (less-than-truckload) carriers. Once your sauna ships, you will receive a notification, followed by a call from the carrier to arrange delivery. While we strive to accommodate your schedule, delivery dates are ultimately determined by the carrier’s availability.

Note: Deliveries to islands will incur additional fees, and customers are responsible for 100% of these extra costs.

Sauna Delivery Details

Your sauna purchase includes curbside delivery to the address provided at checkout.

• LTL Shipments: A liftgate will be used to offload your sauna.
• Flatbed Deliveries: Unloading will be done manually or with a forklift (refer to our Flatbed Policy for details).

Upon delivery, please inspect the exterior of your shipment. Saunas arrive securely packaged in an OSB wooden box. Once the driver safely offloads the pallet, you are responsible for moving the components to your installation site. Most parts are manageable for able-bodied individuals, but we recommend having 1–2 people to assist. A dolly or cart can help with heavier pieces.

Inaccessible Locations

If your delivery address is not accessible to the carrier’s trailer, you must meet the driver at an alternative safe location. We recommend renting a trailer and transferring the sauna components at the designated site.

Island Deliveries

Customers are responsible for all ferry-related costs. If ferry service is required, notify us at the time of purchase. If the driver cannot safely board the ferry, you will need to meet the delivery on the mainland.

Cancellations

If you cancel your order while it’s in transit or cannot accept delivery within the scheduled timeframe, you will be responsible for both the original and return shipping costs, plus a 50% restocking fee.

Undeliverable Locations

If delivery cannot be completed due to isolation or other issues, you have these options:

1. Redirect Delivery: Choose an accessible alternative address (e.g., parking lot or business) and transport the sauna yourself. Any rerouting fees apply.
2. Pick Up at Terminal: Retrieve your sauna from the carrier’s local terminal (30–120 minutes away on average). Contact us to arrange this option. A suitable vehicle or trailer is required.
3. Smaller Truck Delivery: Request delivery via a smaller truck arranged through a third-party carrier. Additional shipping fees ($500–$750) apply.

Shipments to Hawaii & Alaska

We do not ship directly to Alaska or Hawaii. However, we can send your sauna to a freight forwarder of your choice. Once delivered to the forwarder, Theradia Wellness is not responsible for damages incurred afterward.

Warranty claims will be honored per policy, but all associated shipping fees are the customer’s responsibility.

Returns Policy

Theradia Wellness accepts returns of unopened products within 30 days of receipt.

• Refunds are issued for the purchase price, minus original and return shipping costs and a 25% restocking fee.
• Refunds are processed after inspection to confirm all components are present and undamaged.

How Long Before I Receive My Sauna?

• Traditional Saunas: Shipping times vary based on factory production and special orders. Current estimates are always available on our website.

Preparing for Delivery

Order Processing

Once you place your order, your sauna is packaged and prepared for pickup. You’ll receive tracking information as soon as it ships.

Delivery Appointment

When your sauna reaches the nearest regional terminal, the carrier will contact you to schedule delivery (usually 24 hours in advance). Deliveries are by appointment only and require a signature. Appointment windows are typically four hours.

Delivery Location

Standard delivery is to your curbside or driveway, depending on accessibility. For additional services, arrange and pay directly with the delivery company.

Special Circumstances

For challenging delivery sites (remote locations, long driveways, apartment complexes, stairs, etc.), inform the freight carrier when scheduling your appointment.

Packing Materials

Your sauna will arrive in a box strapped to a pallet. Plan ahead for disposal or storage of packing materials.

• Inspection Upon Delivery
• The driver will unload the pallet at your curb or driveway.
• Inspect the exterior for visible damage.
• Note any scratches or dents on the delivery receipt.
• Do not open boxes to inspect the sauna itself.

Assembly Preparation

Delivery Day Tips

We recommend keeping your schedule flexible. While we coordinate for smooth delivery, carriers may arrive early or late, with limited communication.

• Deliveries are via LTL carriers using 53-foot trucks with lift gates.
• Upon arrival, take photos or videos of the pallet’s condition. This helps us quickly process replacements for any damaged parts.

Delivery Details

• Sauna includes curbside delivery. The driver will offload with a lift gate.

• Inspect for major exterior damage (minor box scuffs are normal).

• The sauna will arrive strapped on a single pallet, movable with a pallet jack.

• Have at least two people available to help. Drivers are not required to move the pallet beyond curbside but may assist if possible.

Delivery Challenges & Options

If a carrier cannot complete delivery:

• Smaller Truck: Theradia Wellness can arrange a smaller truck via a third-party carrier (additional costs apply).

• Terminal Pickup: Pick up your sauna at the terminal using a pickup truck or trailer.

Important: Refusing delivery without choosing these options makes you responsible for return shipping, re-delivery, or storage fees.
